Mail Call

Filed under: Chatter - Turtleheart @ 3:34 pm

Woo-hoo! Guess what arrived in the mail today!?! A Sunset book from 1975, called “Crochet: Techniques & Projects.” I got it from Amazon for less than a dollar (plus shipping).

What is so great about this book? It has a pattern to make THIS:

crochetcloak

A crocheted cloak! What could be more appropriate for me? Now, if I can just complete all my Yule gift projects first, I’ll get right on it.

  3. Wow!!!! Loving that cape!!!!! Awesome! And all the rest of your completed projects as well. You HAVE been busy!!!! They look fantastic. And that star baby afghan is adorable. I’ve seen the pattern before but never gotten around to trying it. Maybe I’ll make one up, in girly colors, for the next little girl baby that gets born (I’ve got a couple of little boy afghans put aside). Blessings. –Kati

  4. I was wondering how I can get a copy of the pattern for the crochet cloak. I just love things that are different.

  5. Ok, love the cloak, gotta have the cloak. Could you share or sell the pattern to me? Your work is excellent. Makes me want to crochet again. I had kinda given it up for knitting because knitting seems so much softer and more polished. But your projects are quite lovely.
